It was once said that when America sneezes, the world catches a cold and the Philippines gets a pneumonia.

True indeed. I envied all the 2 million people who were at the National Mall just to watch the Inauguration of Barack Obama. Now I know why we don't have too much calls yesterday! haha Most of the people that I have talked to yesterday were either watching the inauguration on tv or having a party and watching the inauguration on tv! America was very much in the party mood yesterday.

I felt goosebumps on my skin as I watched Obama being sworn in. It was symbolic and touching, I was in near tears as I see great hopes and changes to come in the future. After reading a lot of articles online about the now infamous Obama, I see him as a very cool guy. I remember how he had that candid moment where he almost blurted his words while taking his oath, how he Bump Danced with a 9th grader, how he likes playing ball like most men do and being a loving dad to his daughters. His wife Michelle is equally cool and incredibly stylish as well. I liked how she models clothes from small town designers, Isabel Toledo for having designed the gorgeus yellow ensemble that the new first lady wore on the Inauguration, for sure they will now be recognized by the fashion world now.

 

Also, the Bush twins wrote an open letter to the Obama girls, Malia and Sasha as they share advises on how to live on the White House.  Cute! In lieu of the Obama-rama, I would love to get any of these designer collectibles. So darn cute dba?? Lol
