With all due respect, screw you. Stay away from my life. I now how you talk about people behind their backs, I've been a witness to that myself but I cannot and will not forgive you for going beyond your boundaries. I'm not indebted to you in anyway. Whatever I have right now I worked for it. Blood, sweat and tears. I've been very patient and as much as possible I don't want to mingle with your side of the family coz I'm not really a fan of kaplastikan. My business and problems are not yours to monger about. I can deal with my shit very well on my own. Don't wanna talk much about it, just venting it all out here.
P.S
Patience is a virtue but sorry to say I have a VERY bad temper.
Don't play with it.

My life has been meaningless in the past weeks. I work like a robot so therefore I was boring. Nothing exciting to blog about. Blech!
Work has definitely been keeping me busy these past months. Can't say it has been a good ride since my patience with work is hanging loosely on a thread already. Actually, it's been years like that but now it's really getting on my nerves a lot often these days. Dunno why I stuck on something that is doomed to failure from the start, I just gave it a try wishing somehow I can make it better.
Sometimes I wanna kick myself for not going with my instincts from the start, now I'm lost and dazed with the situation. Work is like a relationship to me, I stuck with it until the end. But why does it feel like shit now? And why do I always say this then end up going the other way around?? Now excuse my mindless
blahs and go kick myself now.

Aside from being to hooked to Facebook games, I'm literally waist deep busy with Cafe World!
It's very much like Restaurant City but with more perks. I don't get hooked easily and mind you I don't play all games there is on facebook but I couldn't tear myself away from this game since I started so you guys should try it!
With around 16 million monthly active users, Playfish’s Restaurant City has been growing steadily since its launch — monetizing through a variety of virtual goods, it appears to be a solid hit. Well, that popularity has been noted by the competition, and it looks like Zynga is stepping into the restaurant business as well with its newest title, Café World. As far as basic concepts go, Café World is the same as Restaurant City. Each player creates restaurant, decorates it, hires friends, and basically runs a business. However, both games do feel very different and are likely to appeal to different types of people. Zynga, however, is far larger than Playfish, with 126 million monthly active users total across its games versus Playfish’s 55.3 million. Both companies cross-promote games to users. This means that both companies have far fewer unique users than the above numbers suggest — but the numbers also indicate that Zynga has many more opportunities to cross-promote Café World via massive hits like FarmVille. Zynga has also aggressively bought advertising for games on sites like Facebook. So, Playfish, for all of its success with Restaurant City, appears to have a serious competitor on its hands — even though Café World currently has only around 32 users. - INSIDE SOCIAL GAMES
No wonder Restaurant City is stepping up to the plate, they got serious competition here! This game deserves to be added to my bookmarks.Get to know more about cafe World here. Kudos to Zynga, who btw created the much hyped Farmville, for creating this game.
Now back to my stoves..=p

Saturday
10am-12noon - Was itching to go home and seek refuge in the warm and cozy bed waiting for me at home. Getting worried already because all taxi drivers were refusing to travel to Marikina coz according to them "baha na dun". I was shaking my head in disbelief.."baha sa marikina? haller! Sa Tumana cguro..di nman ako dun eh"
12noon-2pm - It took 2hrs to travel from Ortigas to Marikina. Already hearing news over the radio that there were cases of flood in some places. No idea that it was already mini floods in Marikina. By 2pm, I was shocked to see that Riverbanks mall was waist deep in water. The taxi driver already refused to go beyond that so we walked from Riverbanks to Marcos Hway going to Calumpang where I live. I was with 2 co-workers who live in the same area as I do.
3-5pm - Water is fast rising from waist to chest level. I was walking alone this time because I need to go 2 blocks to reach my house. Upon reaching JP Rizal street, I was again shocked because the street was no longer passable because water was gushing and current was really strong! Even burly men cannot cross the water without getting washed out. We dearly hung for our lives in makeshift ropes.
6-7pm - Fearing getting hypothermia, I seeked shelter in one of the houses who gladly took me in. As we were closely monitoring the water levels, they prompted to transfer to the other house who has a 2nd and 3rd floor. The water was lampas tao na. We grabbed ropes and tried to cross to the other side with the help pf neighbors.
7-2am - Was still shaking from the cold water, good thing I was offered dry clothes, was able to get a bath unto which I scrubbed myself clean. Had to shampoo and soap myself 3x to get all the dirt out. We ate in silence, I was with strangers who were kind enough to offer me food and shelter as we wait in vain. The view from the 3rd floor was indescribable, at first natuwa pa ako sa experience but after a few hour and still drenched in the flood..I was deathly scared. When darkness fell, it was eerily silent and all we can hear is water rushing and dogs howling. Good thing I was able to get a few hours of sleep to regain some strenght. The next day by dawn, when the water subsided, I went home walking in the mud imagining what happened to my house.
AFTERMATH
I was by myself for the first 3 days cleaning all the mud and burak. The stench was dreadful..think mud and dead rotten fish. My arms and legs were aching, my body was numbed, can't move coz it hurts all at once. I wish I was able to get pictures of how my house looked like with all the dirt everywhere. I could have shown it to my mom who would've died seeing how messy it was.I pleaded my Mom to send anyone who can help me clean the house. Thank God for my sister, cousin Jomir and my aunt and the Manong Basil who came all the way from Tuguegarao to help me clean my house. On the 4rth day I now have a clean house, next stop is the laundry.
Typhoon Ondoy was one helluva storm. The once clean and picturesque Marikina was left in shambles, clutter and a total mess. Left with no current and a little food, With no current and no news from the outside world, it was only thru texts that I learned about Cristine Reyes being trapped in Provident Village and the much celebrated heroic act of Richard G. They should have brought more help because we got none from the government. Donations came mostly from NGO's. I could still say more about how bad our experience were but I'm sure photos and videos were very much provided by news and Facebook. I commend little acts of heroisms, I wanted to share a post from Ping medina's facebook saying..
Ping Medina II REPOST: News comment of an American Dweller in the Philippines: "I wish you all could see the amazing community spirit, charity and compassion in the Philippines. What I see happening here totally blows away the response to hurricane Katrina. Pe...ople here have less to give, yet they are giving ABUNDANTLY. There is such a greater story than just the 'death toll' that the lame american media fails to capture."
My heart is breaking everytime I look outside my window wondering how long will we ever get back to normal. With news of an incoming typhoon, I doubt that it won't be anytime soon. We now leave everything to God. WE BADLY NEED DONATIONS HERE. PLEASE TAKE TIME TO HELP. THE GOVERNMENT IS DOING POORLY IN HELPING PEOPLE SO WE NEED EXTRA HANDS AND HEARTS. I prayed to the Lord to send someone to save me from the flood as I had no one, God is so good coz instead of sending someone he gave me an entire family who provided food and shelter. I thank the man upstairs everyday for that.

I'm on a hunt for the best if not, the most user friendly wirelessbroadband. Globe's Tattoo was tempting but after reading reviews like this and this.. I was turned off. Smart Bro was worse.
A few days ago I tried testing SUN WIRELESS BROADBAND courtesy of my officemate Lou. What he gave me was the USB stick and a Post-It note where directions are written to install it. To my surprise, I was able to install it on my laptop in leass than 5mins, after a minute of installing I'm instantly online. Wow! I wasted no time checking my accounts on Facebook. I have been using SUN for 2 days now and so far I have no complains. I haven't experienced getting disconnected or having my internet interrupted for some reasons. Intrigued with the prices for this baby?
PREPAID PLANSPOSTPAID PLANS
To be honest, I LOVE IT! Fast and easy installation and AFFORDABLE prices. I also read that their broadband signal is different from what they use for SUN MOBILE. Kaya mabilis! We even tested this in Pasig, Taguig and my house in Marikina. Strong yung signals in these 3 areas. Now I may get myself wandering the nearest SUN SHOP this weekend and get myself a wireless broadband plan.

End of the month always stresses me out. Pressure from work is doubled, calls are insane and loads of inventories to be updated. Add that to lack of sleep and infuriating heatwave like weather leaves me longing for the weekend. I desperately need a decent massage!! My friend Jona and I have plans for some seriously much needed salon time as work leaves us ngarag all the time. I'm eyeing for a mani/pedi, touch up on my hair and might go for rebonding as well. Can't wait for that!
On the bright side, I finally bought a laptop. Christmas came in early for me despite some minor glitches on accounting but nevertheless I finally succumbed to tempation. Haha Last week Eric and I trooped to Gilmore to scour some deals on laptops. I swear, Gilmore looks like a mini Divisoria of gadgets. After 2 hours of scouring and haggling I settled with an MSI CR400 Classic.

SRP - $26,400 in PC EXPRESS but haggled it down to 25,500 and got a laptop bag. Not bad eh? I was going for 25k flat but I was gettiing stern NO answers already so I stopped hehe. I originally wanted to get a COMPAQ PRESARIO but specs and prices did not match up. I've read a lot of good reviews online with MSI so that made up my mind.
Happy with my purchase, we went home and tested it right away. So far so good, I was just freaking out everytime it heats up and automatically shuts down. Been irritated with that for days until I googled and found out that normally when it heats up it does an auto shutdown so "parts will not be harmed". Dunno what that means but what I do now is everytime I use it I make sure my fan is directed to it. No more problems so far..for now. I'm one happy camper..again, for now. Hehe Looking forward to play facebook games like Restaurant City, Farmville and Barn Buddy which is the main reason why I bought it anyway.

Just saw this feed on Whatsikat and I almost fell off my chair! Hurriedly clicked the link and read the review on Beautynomics. Loved it!
To sum up, Cyleina soaps are good quality, organic soaps, that are more expensive than the normal soaps in the mass market, but priced at around 60 bucks ( approximately ),but still nonetheless affordable. These are must-tries for those who love bath products! - Beautynomics
Congrats to my dear cousin Leigh Garcia-Hortaleza of Cyleina Organic Soaps! You're making the big dream! I'm sooooo proud of you and Christian! Keep it up!

I've been pretty much holed up in my roomon weekends shunning social events because I've been busy with the favorite sport of couch potatoes - dvd marathon. Lol! Recent trips to my suki dvd shops had been rewarding so far. Most of the time I buy tv series, I'd rather watch the movies in the big screen.
So, this is what I've been up to. This is in continuation to my post.
Supernatural - Season 1- 4
I hate scary movies. I hate Halloween. Anything related to ghosts and spirits would send me scurrying for the exit door fast. But when paired this with ruggedly good looking brothers who hunt demons and other figures of the paranormal..dude I'm sooooo there!! Lol Supernatural tells the story of two brothers travel the country looking for their missing father and battle evil spirits along the way, in stories inspired by urban legends and other folklore. Sam and Dean are hunky, funny and a joy to watch. Supernatural is the best genre show since Buffy and Angel. It has a lot of depth, layers, intelligence, richness, and above all, brilliant storytelling, direction, and acting. Excellentseries! A friend of mine convinced me to watch her season 1 DVD and i was hooked from the first episode. I was glued to this series from Season 1-4 and had me sleepless for a month. I was like avampire hungry for blood.
Bones - Season 1- 4
The most recent show that I have finished so far. Season 4 of Bones brings us back to the interesting partnership of FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth and Dr. Temperance Brennan. This season is packed with 26 episodes and had me waiting almost 6 months prior to Season 3. I was expecting a series of cases that will lead to an exciting season finale but I must say that I was a bit disappointed this time. The Gravedigger episode lacks impact and was left hanging with some loose ends. (Gravedigger was a woman? Geez..) Moving along, Losing Zach Addy on Season 3 brought me to tears..no he did not die but being an accomplice of Gormogon, he had to be placed in a mental facility so bye bye Jeffersonian it is. I had to guffaw when he snucked from the facility and helped solve the case of the OCD thereby making him King of the Loony bin! You gotta love that! The finale had the exciting twist on the last part when Booth, coming from his operation due to a tumor on his brain, loses his memory leaving Bones baffled for words. Question for the next season is will he gain his memory back? Will Booth and Bones finally have their much awaited moment? How about Bones getting a baby from Booth? Alas, the agonizing wait for the next season starts.
Gossip Girl - Season 2
Yeah I know this has been finished ages ago but I hate watching online because I get bitin with the episodes. So what I do is I wait for the series to be finished and hence wait for it to be available on dvd so I can watch it in one go. GG season 2 is the bomb! I was soooo releived that the upper east siders are now moving on to college finally leaving high school drama behind. Or not! Lol I love how it ended with the sweetest effing thing with Chuck finally saying the 3 magic words repeatedly to the much surprised Blair. I JUST MELTED WITH ALL THE CHEESE! Who cares! Chuck and Blair rule!! Can't wait for Season 3!
Next queued on my dvd player.
The Big Bang Theory - Season 1
Damages - Season 1 (Just started this today..loving the legal drama!! Glenn Close rocks!!)
Will post reviews again soon. Who says I don't watch too much tv???

Got this newsletter from Playfish.
You could have the best restaurant in the world with the tastiest food, the most sumptuous decor and the most refreshing drinks menu, but if you can't tempt the customers in, who's going to know? The restaurants on Gourmet Street didn't just get there because they had a great interior, they caught the critic's eyes from the street and made them wonder what they were like inside. It pays to be eye catching.
Enjoy!

A segment of the Asia-Pacific Cable Network 2 (APCN2) undersea cable network between China and Taiwan suffered a serious cable fault on Wednesday, causing Internet traffic to be rerouted onto other undersea cables and slowing Internet access for some users in Southeast Asia. - PCWorld
The typhoon, nicknamed Morakot, caused damage to the Asia-Pacific Cable Network 2 (APCN2), a telecommunications cable system buried underneath the sea which provides. The APCN2 is responsible for a significant part of internet traffic in Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and of course, the Philippines. Repairs are underway, and normal operation should resume by the morning of August 14 at the latest. The damage was severe enough to actually cause a cut in the 19,000 km cable-system, leading to limited connectivity for many offices and homes. Local internet users complained of significantly slower internet speeds, and then Straits times reported difficulties in accessing sites and online services based in Taiwan and the US. Previous damage to the cable caused limited internet connectivity back in 2006, due to an earthquake in Taiwan.
According to the article, repairs will hopefully be finished by August 20, next week.

As much as I wanted to keep up with the coverage of Tita Cory, I was too sick to watch tv.

This is one of the times that I am very proud to be a Filipino.
